California Triathlon is pulling out all the stops to support you at the LA Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon. Take $10 off registration by using the ROCKCALTRI discount code and enjoy complimentary benefits including free daily group trainings, carb load dinner, course preview, the wildest on-course race support from 45 Cal Tri volunteers and special partner deals on gear/swag.  This is limited to the first 250 respondents.

• GROUP TRAINING: Free daily group training and support to make sure everyone is prepared for that big race. On race day you will be cheered along the course by the Cal Tri volunteers and cheer squads. This is a friendly group and there is always room for one more smiling face.

• DINNER: In celebration of our LA Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon Runners, Cal Tri has scheduled a free pre-race carb load dinner on October 26th for the first 50 runners who register using the ROCKCALTRI code and RSVP to the dinner (Update 10/24/12: Only a few dinner slots left).

• COURSE PREVIEW: Join us for the race preview on October 7 with the nutrition and sport drink provided

• CHEER STATION:This year’s theme is “The 80’s”

• NEED A PLACE TO STAY?  If you live outside the Los Angeles area and register using ROCKCALTRI, Cal Tri will coordinate a local place to stay the night before the race. Limited to the first 100 people. We want all our friends from outside the area to come and enjoy the party!

What:  RNR LA Course Preview

Start:  LA Live Starbucks, 800 West Olympic Blvd., Suite A102, Los Angeles, CA 90015

When:  6:45am meetup.  7:00am start

Notes:  Come out on August 19th & October 7th at 7am for the LA RNR Course Preview.  There will be 8 and 13.1 mile options led by experienced runners and designed for runners of any experience level & speed.  All participants will need to sign a waiver.  Please bring a water bottle.  Gu & Gatorade provided.

12 Week Half and Full Marathon Training Program


For runners who want a more intensive training regimen we offer a coached, fee-based 12 week Half and Full Marathon Training Program training program preparing you for a half or full marathon. 

This plan will augment your exsiting training program focusing on speed and the POSE running technique. Each session is coached by 
Jeanette Shelow-MacDougall
(Certified Pose Instructor).
